SUNKISS THERMOREACTORS ®

 

Located in the northeast of France, Sunkiss ® is renown for research and development into thermo-dynamics. THERMOREACTORS ® catalytic infra-red emitters were invented by Sunkiss® who continue to manufacture them exclusively and under a world-wide patent.

 

 

Sunkiss ® designed the first oven to use catalytic infra-red for paint drying, and continue to supply this unique system to leading manufacturing companies. For example Caterpillar, TGV and GEC Alsthom.

These significant time savings result for highly efficient energy transfer. Temperature rise is rapid from inside the coating to outside enabling solvent or water evaporation

 

Sunkiss ® ovens will reduce floor space requirement and are especially beneficial in providing rapid heat- up, a good example is in powder curing - by using Thermoreactors ® goods can quickly be bought up to temperature whereby the powder can quickly fluidise in an inert environment, and this can be followed by a convection oven for the remainder of the cure.

 

Thermoreactors ® are unlike the more familiar infra-red panels, which are directional and require a constant distance to the surface that is to be heated to be effective; frequently scorching areas in close proximity whilst failing to heat other areas effectively.

 

Each Thermoreactors ® panels incorporates a fan that distributes heated air through the oven, maximising heat transfer utilisation.

 

Safety

In Thermoreactors ® combustion of gas is without flame, and at low temperature; this method does not present any risk even if solvents are present, solvent in contact with the catalytic surface will oxidise without flame.
