Dip Pre-Treatment Systems

This method may be used for a wide range of components; often smaller product that is difficult to handle individually is placed in baskets and processed in quantity, larger components that present a different handling problem may also benefit by a dipping system; and components with hidden spaces, for example internal surface, that require corrosion protection can also be treated by a dipping process.

Dipping systems are often fully-automated, either as a small batch type machine, or a larger system using programmed transport carriages to progress from tank to tank.

The dipping process is slower than spraying and requires product to be immersed in each of the process tanks for a defined time.

The transporter can be fully programmed to load and travel between process tanks.

A system may contain 2 or 3 transporters to enable the volume required to be handled.  Transporters may travel between selected tanks, leaving one load in the tank to move another load.

Due to the additional time required by dipping processes the maximum number of loads per hour is approximately 12.
