Construction
- Rugged 3mm folded sheet metal construction, sealed and painted internally with temperature resistant paint 5.0mm floor sheet, fully welded to side walls.
- Outer skin coated with primer and air drying enamel in Pengrave-Remal blue.

Insulation
- Typical furnace design insulation of low thermal mass, including ceramic fibre material capable of withstanding 1,200°C.
- Oven walls and roof insulated with high density fibreglass covered with foil vapour barrier and inner lining of ceramic fibre.
- Hot face protected from mechanical damage by stainless steel panels.
- Oven floor insulated by dry laid firebricks covered with 3mm mild steel floor plates for protection and to facilitate cleaning.
