Box oven - Batch Oven
 |
Box or batch ovens are generally used for low volume production, or for smaller components where it is unnecessary to have a conveyorised process.
The ovens can be designed to specific requirements. Access is through doors that seal off the oven during the heating cycle. Doors can be single or double-leaf, depending on the component dimensions and handling system. Doors may also be installed on both ends to provide through=flow work movement.

Smaller ovens can be fitted with shelves for component loading, alternatively specifically designed load trolleys can be incorporated that enables easier loading and unloading.
Heating is normally gas-fired or electrical, temperatures can range from 100 - 400ºC. |
